FIRST Academic is the in-house support system for all
things academic here at Mines. Each
freshman living on campus is offered the benefit
of having a personal First Assistant(FA) to help
with homework, provide support with academic
skills such as time management, and setup group
study sessions for common classes. The
best part is that all FA's live in the same
building as their students and have set tutoring
hours each week. Even if your FA doesn't
know the answer, they know how to help you find
it or where to go for help. So don't be
afraid to ask - friendly and helpful is written
into their job description! |
