Summer Crew
The ResLife Summer
Crew provides a variety of responsibilities and flexible work schedules for
students wanting to work on-campus from May through August. In addition to
being responsible for many maintenance projects, the Summer Crew also provides
the people power for Summer Conferencing Services. This includes staffing
the Surbeck desk, setting up guest rooms and hauling literally tons of linen.
Maintenance projects include painting, light carpentry, some cleaning and more.
Several members of
the Summer Crew will also have the opportunity to work as on-call staff.
These students are required to live on-campus during the summer months and
provide on-call coverage for students and guests who are living in the dorms.
As such, these students receive a free room during the summer.
Starting pay is
$7.00 per hour; 20-40 hours per week. ResLife typically employs 8-10 students
each summer.
