Hall Councils
Residence Hall Association (RHA)
and Hall Councils
RHA provides a number of
services and opportunities to the residents of South
Dakota Tech’s on-campus housing. The students living on
campus during the 1965-66 school year formed RHA to help
with residence hall administration. All residents are
members of Residence Hall Association and are encouraged
to attend all association meetings. Individual hall
councils represent the residents of their hall.
The purposes of the
Association as promoted by hall councils are:

To sponsor functions
and services that will benefit all members;

To aid in the
designation of uses of recreation fund money;

To work with the
administration in formulating and carrying out
residence hall rules and policies.
